Fellow Californians…yes, I’m from California. I’ve been hearing more and more people referring to the complete “Marijuana will save our economy”, and frankly, I possibly could not DISAGREE MORE! Call it an opinion, but I call it a fact. Marijuana is not going to save lots of our economy. We are in a recession, face it. It appears as though some people on the market are trying to use this economy to make something that is outright ridiculous seems reasonable. In the event that you watch the news headlines or have any kind of social life, you’re aware of all negatives which can be carried alongside drugs, especially marijuana.
Furthermore, a lot of the problems are getting on in California. Making the drug legal cause all hell to break loose. Recently, I was watching a video of violence at the border of California and Mexico. Could you guess what the violence was over? Marijuana. I don’t mean to sound prejudice, but if marijuana is made legal, the degree of crime at the border is going to skyrocket. Can it be well worth it? Making this drug legal so our economy can improve a bit? Heck, we’re not even sure if the program would work! Our economy is bad enough, and the final thing we truly need is a drug war going on within our country, or state for that matter. The main reason I say the united states is that if California does it, other states are sure to follow.
Marijuana activists declare that there have been ZERO deaths from marijuana, and then they compare it to the countless deaths due to alcohol. Sure, this might be true. Marijuana hasn’t caused any direct deaths, meaning no you’ve got actually died because of health problem from marijuana. Nonetheless, marijuana leads people to complete issues that they’d never do when these were in their right state of mind. Marijuana DOES cause deaths.
So for most of you all Californians who think this idea is a good one, please sit down and deeply reconsider what you’re saying. The economy is horrible, and let’s not make it worse. California marijuana Obama is in now, and we are able to rely on him to correct things. I’m certain that he too would believe the marijuana proposal is a horrible one, and brings nothing but negatives to their state of California. Just my two cents though! Feel free to state everything you think, as I’m sure there are numerous individuals who are on the opposite side of the spectrum as me.
