Have You Ever Wondered Why Miracles Happen To Others And Not To You?
In a time when our planet is in a crisis… banks going under, people losing their homes and jobs and the sense of foreboding that surrounds us, it sure would be good to see a miracle. I wasn’t surprised at all when this crisis hit and it isn’t a predicament I decide to neither dwell on nor get upset about. This crisis was predicted years ago. It was prophesied that if a time came when humanity was more concerned making use of their possessions than one another, the world as we know it would change. There would be floods, wars, famines, an increase in crime and the major banks and financial institutions would fall. It will be a wake up call.
Is that nearly what is occurring as we speak? We live in a civilization where most people live beyond their means. It’s turn into a “gotta own it” indulgent society. We would like instant gratification. And we have gone beyond our methods to get it. We think only of the physical pleasures and have lost our link with the mind and spirit of humanity. Our youngsters are following inside our footsteps. They have most of the bells and whistles available and they have them the moment they become available. They are a generation of kids who don’t really understand what it is to take responsibility due to their actions nor the satisfaction of earning a reward for a job well done. They see, they need, they get. The same as us. Obviously I’m generalizing. There are kids and adults who help others and are responsible. But they’re a minority.
So, perhaps, this crisis could be viewed as a miracle, one that is forcing all of us to avoid and decide what is important. What are the priorities in your life? How can you change your current circumstances? What have you been willing to accomplish to produce your daily life work now? I think most of us have too much’stuff.’ This past year I visited a third world country where I found that families, friends and community are at the top of these set of priorities. Just what a different world they live in retiro un curso de milagros. No, they don’t have four-bedroom, two hundred thousand dollar homes. They don’t have two cars, four TVs, every gaming available or the newest fashions but they have the sense of togetherness. Then when did we lose ourselves? What happened that people value possessions significantly more than humanity? I think this can be a personal dilemma. There’s probably an alternative answer for every single of us that people could evaluate and decide what we could do to alter ourselves and consequently, change our world. In doing this we could experience our miracles.
So what is a miracle anyway? Albert Einstein said and I quote, “There are two ways to live your life. One is like nothing is just a miracle. One other is like everything is just a miracle.” I often agree with him.
Whenever we think of miracles, we automatically think of healings that come directly from God or one of His chosen ones. In the dictionary this is defined as: “An event that seems to be unlike the laws of nature and is regarded as an act of God.” In actual fact, miracles happen everyday to ordinary people. And there is more then one definition of’miracle’in the dictionary. Here’s another: “An event or action that is totally amazing, extraordinary or unexpected.” Could we then say that major crisis might be a miracle and be grateful for it happening? Now that is a tall order, isn’t it. Be grateful that we’re losing all our money and possessions. Has it made you more alert to everything you do have? Then that is a miracle.
Being grateful or thankful is simple to accomplish for what we perceive as the great things inside our lives. Being grateful for everything is just a tad harder. Asking the question, “Exactly what do I study on this situation?” helps us to understand what we could do to alter it and move ahead and that is a miracle.
For centuries, worldly scholars have told us that what we think we are. Meaning that if you consistently think you’re fat, poor, jobless or other things that you’re thinking then that’s everything you are. Everything is energy and your thoughts and actions are part of this energy. What we think, how we act and what we do is transmitted into the universe. (It’s similar to sending an email within the Internet). That energy resonates with like energies and returns for your requirements that which you have transmitted. It’s as easy as that. Einstein told us that years ago and we are just starting to understand how important it is. Changing our thoughts and energy could possibly be the solution you’re looking for.
To have these changes and consequently, miracles we need to tune into them. By being alert to our surroundings we begin to have more and more’strange’things happen. Challenge yourself. Put a thought into the universe many times each day and become alert to what is happening around you. Make that challenge something that you could measure. Something such as, “I have the $50.00 to cover my friend back.” Your response may can be found in a strange way. That’s why you’ll need to keep yourself informed of what’s happening around you. One other thing I bear in mind to accomplish is usually to be grateful for many that I have and for things that come my way so after each’transmission,’ I say, “Thank you.”
Our planet is in a crisis. Humanity has lost its direction. We’ve been given a wakeup call. Viewed as a miracle, this crisis is giving us the chance to focus on our relationships be it family, friends, employees/employers, community or self. It’s forcing all of us to avoid and decide what is important. Miracles are waiting to happen to you. The option is yours.
